Charitable initiatives by Artbox Alumni in support of the forcibly displaced people from Artsakh

Published: December 18, 2023

In the face of historical tragedy, our creative community has stepped up to make a difference. Artbox Alumni have harnessed their artistic talents to support families forcibly displaced from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). From art exhibitions to music anthems, these initiatives showcase how art can serve as a force for change and compassion.

Let's delve into the inspiring stories behind these charitable endeavors.

From October 7 to 15, a Yerevan-based visual artist Karine Dulyan leveraged her talent in creating evocative cityscapes and abstract art to aid the displaced families from Artsakh. She organized a solo exhibition at A1 Art Space and raised over 1 million AMD to support Artsakh people through the Transparent Armenia Charity Foundation (TACF).

“Everyone has their unique way of helping; mine is through painting,” said the artist.

So far the team has successfully raised around 3 million AMD for 8 families from Artsakh in collaboration with TmbaTa, FairWind, Katil, Lav Eli, Rozen Tal, Tsayg,  Degh, Mad Nation, Zrangi, and Hogh Arthun (Hogh and Arthur Aleq).
